Karter grew up around the pool industry, learning the ins and outs from a young age and gaining hands-on experience over the years. With over 105 years of combined family experience behind him, this isn’t just something we do—it’s what we know. A huge part of that foundation comes from Karter’s uncle Kurt, who has taught him just about everything he knows about the business. That mentorship has shaped the way Bass Pool Pros operates today, and it’s something we’re incredibly grateful for.

The name Bass Pool Pros is rooted in family as well. While it might sound like it has something to do with fishing, it actually comes from Kieleigh’s family name—Bass. It was a meaningful way to build a brand that represents more than just a service. It represents who we are, what we stand for, and the relationships we’re building with every customer we serve.
